The PLA TEXTURE WOOD filament from Sakata 3D Filaments is made from PLA and a high percentage of wood fibers. It is a biodegradable material specifically developed for 3D printers.
Its low abrasion and excellent flow allow the use of a 0.4 mm nozzle, achieving a realistic effect both in touch and smell, without the risk of material buildup in the throat or premature nozzle wear.
One of the properties of this material is that temperature variation can be used to achieve different wood tones, thus creating a more realistic veining effect.
